Expect an 8 game season starting in March (spring season) and September (fall season) for U7 - U19.  All players registered will be contacted in three to four weeks prior to the season beginning. Players must have or purchase a club uniform for U9 through U19. GVAA teams will play teams from Frederick County and surrounding communities. U9 play 7 v 7, U11 play 9 v 9; U13 and older play 11 v 11. For the U13 and U15 brackets (boys and girls), players may elect to try out for a Division I team to be selected by a panel of GVAA coaches if tryouts are scheduled.  Practices are held at Heritage Farm Park.
     
     The U6 and U7 teams practice at Heritage Farm Park starting in April (spring season) and September (fall season).  U6 games are played on Saturday mornings at HFP.  U7 games are played at TJ Middle at 1:30 pm on Saturday afternoons. U6 practices on Wednesdays and U7 practices TBD.  Uniforms are provided for U6 and U7 players (jersey and socks).
     Practices for all teams usually begin one to two weeks prior to games beginning.  You will be notified by your coach when practice will begin.

     We will attempt to have boys (coed) and girls teams but this is determined by the number of registrations.  If not enough are registered to complete a team, they will be combined.


UNIFORMS (U9 through U19)

Registration fee includes socks but not a uniform. A uniform must be purchased for approximately $40 unless your player has a GVAA uniform in reasonable condition that can be worn again this season. Uniforms INCLUDE SHORTS.  Uniforms will be purchased by the players' parents before the season begins. The uniforms are purchased at Frederick Soccer Supply located in the Frederick Indoor Sports Center 1845 Brookfield Court, Frederick, MD, phone # 301-668-6111.  

U6 and U7 jersey and socks are provided with the registration fee of $40.
 

Coaching/Teammate requests - You can request a coach or a teammate.  Your athlete will be placed with the coach/teammate you request if possible.  This is not guaranteed.
